Wayne B. Titus III, CPA/PFS, AIFA(R)
AMDG Business Advisory Services
For Wayne Titus, working with clients means helping them understand their financial situations so they can become good stewards of their money. Wayne founded AMDG Financial and AMDG Business Advisory Services, PLC, in 2002 after more than 15 years in management at two large accounting firms, working with Fortune 50 clients. “While I loved the experience, I was looking for something more,” says Wayne. “Owning my own tax and advisory firms enables me to share what I’ve learned with my community, while at the same time, honoring my personal values of entrepreneurship, family and civic involvement.”
Wayne's love of entrepreneurship was the impetus for his book, The Entrepreneur's Guide to Financial Well-Being. Drawing on his personal experiences and professional background, he walks entrepreneurs through finding and building a dependable, communicative relationship with an adviser who has a holistic viewpoint.
A fee-only, fiduciary adviser, Wayne is committed to placing his clients' interests ahead of his own, or those of the firm. In fact, AMDG Financial was one of the first 10 firms globally to be certified by the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence. The certification recognizes AMDG’s adherence to global best practices for investment adviser fiduciaries.
Wayne holds a B.S degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida, a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Grove City College in Pennsylvania, and a Master’s degree in Employee Benefits Law at the John Marshal Law School in Chicago. An active member of the community, Titus served as chairperson of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants’ Financial Literacy Task Force, and as a member of MICPA’s Tax Reform Study Group, through which he chaired the group’s education committee. Wayne is also a member of Rotary International, where he was elected to serve during 2015-16 as District Governor for Rotary District 6400.
Rebecca Stroud, CFA, AIF(R)
Partner, Director of Operations and Client Service
Becky Stroud’s history with AMDG Financial spans many years. She first joined the firm in 2003, and spent eight years making trades on behalf of clients, calculating retirement projections, and assisting with other client transactions. When she and her husband relocated to St. Louis to be closer to family, Becky continued to work remotely, and eventually left AMDG Financial to spend more time with her young children.
During that time, she continued her studies to become a CFA charterholder, a process that involves three levels of exams and can take an average of four years to complete. In addition, Becky holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary(R) designation. In 2017, she became a minority partner in AMDG Financial.
In 2015, Becky became an Investment Adviser Representative and rejoined AMDG Financial, where she now works with clients as an adviser and wealth manager. “It’s a privilege to be with a company that creates unique strategies for each client,” she says. “I believe in AMDG Financial’s wealth management approach and values, and I enjoy the team environment.”
Partner, Director of Communication
Ramey Becker became a partner in AMDG Financial in 2018, after four years of consulting with the firm. A former television journalist, Ramey brings more than 25 years of senior-level experience in communication, marketing and public affairs to her role.
Prior to joining AMDG Financial, Ramey founded msgwrks ltd., a communication consulting firm serving the financial services and real estate industries. Ramey holds a master's degree in applied communication from the University of Denver, and a bachelor's degree in mass communications with a specialty in media production from Florida State University.
Chris Carlson, CFP(R), C(k)P(R), AIF(R)
A Michigan native, Chris Carlson joined AMDG Financial in 2016, and became a partner in 2020. In 2018, he achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification after meeting the program's rigorous education, experience, ethics and exam requirements. Chris also holds the C(k)P(R) designation, awarded to those who have demonstrated competency and experience in the retirement field, as well as the Accredited Investment Fiduciary(R) qualification.
Chris holds a master's degree in health and risk communication and a bachelor's degree in organizational communication from Michigan State University. In his spare time, he enjoys training for triathlons and spending time with his family.
Partner, Tax/Accounting Operations Function Lead
Melissa Orlando is a partner, and the tax and accounting operations function lead at AMDG Business Advisory Services (BAS). Melissa, who hails from the St. Louis area and works remotely, previously owned her own tax and accounting firm prior to joining AMDG BAS. A Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, Melissa brings more than 10 years of experience working with complex individual and business tax returns, as well as with internal bookkeeping controls and processes.
In her role at AMDG BAS, Melissa is responsible for systemizing our operations process and helping to integrate the firm’s services with those of AMDG Financial. Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Joe, and their four children.
Mary Beythan joined AMDG Financial's operations department in 2017 as she pursued her bachelor's degree in accounting at Madonna University in Livonia, and accepted a full-time position with the firm after graduation. Working remotely from Texas, Mary assists the operations team with client projections, fulfilling cashiering requests, preparing allocation reviews and maintaining client data. Before joining AMDG Financial, Mary held various administrative and retail positions during her college career. When not at work, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her dog, watching sports and traveling.
Born and raised in Plymouth, Molly Wallace is often the first person clients meet when they start working with AMDG Financial and AMDG Business Advisory Services. In her operations role, Molly not only schedules client appointments; she also considers herself to be a "supporting player" for our advisers. "I do whatever I can behind the scenes to make sure our clients have the best experience possible," she says.
A graduate of Plymouth High School, Molly graduated with honors from Columbia College in Chicago with a B.A. in Theatre Performance, and wrote and performed in multiple sold-out sketch shows at The Second City, Chicago's renowned comedy club. In her free time, Molly loves reading, puzzles, and playing with her greyhound rescues, Oscar and Daisy.
Michele Ledford, CPA/PFS
Associate Accounting and Tax Adviser

With more than 20 years of experience in the tax and accounting field, Michele Ledford works with AMDG Financial's personal and business clients on tax planning and preparation. Michele, who earned a bachelor's degree in accounting in 2000, brings experience with individuals, corporations, partnerships and profit-sharing plans to her position. She also holds the CPA and PFS credentials.
In her spare time, Michele loves spending time with her family, reading, gardening, and traveling.
Alicia Brooks joined AMDG Financial for the 2019 tax season as an intern and became a part time employee after her internship ended. As a member our operations team, Alicia assists with tax preparation, payroll and bookkeeping services for AMDG Business Advisory Services, and also supports AMDG Financial’s advisory team by completing client projections and maintaining the firm’s performance management system.
Based in St. Louis, Alicia graduated from Fontbonne University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and travel adventures with her husband, John.
